About Us
Salem Engineering specializes in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and fire protection engineering. Salem Engineering was founded in Naugatuck, CT in 1988, and has since opened offices in Charlotte, VT and North Brunswick, NJ.
We provide comprehensive design services for new construction and renovations with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. Additionally, Salem Engineering performs analysis, testing, and commissioning of building systems, and provides design consulting services and expert witness consultations.
Our projects span the hospitality, institutional, industrial, commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, public, and residential sectors, although we are always looking to expand into new waters!
We work closely with architects, contractors, other design professionals, and, most importantly, the client in order to achieve a cost-effective and sustainable outcome while remaining true to the client's vision.
Salem Engineering's staff has professional registrations in Mechanical and Electrical engineering, Industrial Hygiene, and certifications in Niagara AX controls, ASI controls, and LEED AP. We work on projects throughout the United States, parts of Canada, and a few other international locations.
